My name is Brody. I have been to the vet more times than all the other pets in my house, but I'm pretty sure that means that I win. I have had surgery for elbow displasia and TPLO (ACL) surgery on both knees. I am alergic to several common things and my liver doesn't process copper correctly. But, because my people love me, I am doing very well for a 9 year old hurricane with several issues.
Recently, I started getting Librella shots for osteo-arthritis. It started helping almost immediately so now, I'm a hurricane combined with a tornado. I have also been super happy and playful. Though, Riley doesn't seem interested, I keep trying. I have also started getting more throws outside because I am feeling better. We still have to limit them a bit though.
Yesterday after my third Librella shot, I got to go for a long ride in the car and we stopped at the yacht club on the way home. It is one of my favorite things because before the boats go back in the water, no other dogs are there and I get to smell whatever I want. I just wish I could go in the water, but since it is a water source for Manchester, no one is allowed in there.
